California

It's April. The big bright white thing in the sky has been seen a few times. The garden bug is back. The raspberries I planted last year are putting up tons of new sprouts. I built a rustic compost bin so I no longer have a view a big messy pile of decaying food in the back yard (I detest the plastic ones.) Tulips, bleeding heart, and the little star magnolia blossoms are magnificent.

T Magazine has a feature on Judy Kameon this morning. Her work is capturing my imagination, bringing vivid impressions of warm summer mornings in exquisite California landscapes. See more at Elysian Landscapes. Bring me my sari and sandals!
