Some sights from around the neighborhood.
Bachelor's Buttons never go out of fashion. They looked great planted next to the fennel with its lacy yellow blossoms.
At first I thought these were Sea Holly, but upon closer examination, the form is different. I'm wondering if they are a native plant I saw long ago growing in the high desert in Eastern Oregon. I came across these at dusk and they seemed to glow and float. For a moment it seemed I was staring into cellular forms under a microscope. I must get some!
